  • Host a number of high-profile golf events on the estate and generate some good publicity for the Brocket Hall Estate.

  • We renovated a separate building on the Estate to use as the Euro Pro Tour hub. The space included new changing facilities and a kitchen area. The Retail Open had 18 sponsored holes and 2 double-decker buses that featured engaging pop-ups by sponsors.

  • The EuroPro Tour was covered by Sky Sports Golf and went out on June 4th at 8 pm. After a full year of planning. The week was a big success with great feedback from all involved.

"The key was keeping both events separate. A serious competition on one course and a fun, charitable event on the other."

"To walk into the Michael Halpern show was to be staggered by the sight of two vast turn-of-the-century chandeliers which had been lowered to the floor level of a grand institutional ballroom in Westminster. That glittering backdrop — perfect for London’s king of sequins — was all the native New Yorker could desire for a collection that was an homage to Barbra Streisand and the Ziegfeld Follies"

Banqueting House

Event Summary

Guests were welcomed into Banqueting House by Cambridge Constables in traditional dress before being shown into the Undercroft for a pre-dinner drinks reception. From there, they were invited to the Main Hall for dinner.

The main component of this event was the production, aided by White Light. Footage of Cambridge was projected onto the windows in the Main Hall to create the effect of looking out of the window at well-known Cambridge scenes. The rolling footage of iconic Cambridge images, which softly played during dinner, included punting, picnics in front of the colleges, students walking through cloisters and work taking place in a science lab. This helped immerse guests in the Cambridge way of life so they could reminisce about their own experiences there.

By Word of Mouth designed a dinner menu that reflected the ground-breaking, world-beating and life-changing achievements of the university, while also demonstrating a contemporary, elegant and stylish approach.
